    After breakfast, begin your day with a guided city tour. Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (viewed from outside, with minimal walking), a place of national pride. Continue to the One Pillar Pagoda, a historic 11th-century Buddhist structure shaped like a lotus blossom. Next, explore the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, set in serene gardens. After lunch, enjoy a traditional Water Puppet Show, a delightful performance of rural life and folklore using puppets on water — a cultural highlight for visitors of all ages. Return to your hotel by early evening for rest or a light stroll.

    Depart from Hanoi early morning for a full-day excursion to the world-renowned Halong Bay (approx. 3.5 hrs drive in a comfortable AC vehicle). Board a spacious cruise boat and sail through emerald waters dotted with towering limestone islands. Relax on deck as you pass dramatic caves and fishing villages. Enjoy a delicious Vietnamese lunch on board and take in the serene seascape. Those who wish can join a short walk into a large limestone cave or stay on deck and enjoy the breeze. Return to Hanoi by evening for a restful night.

Sip Vietnamese coffee at a lakeside café or enjoy shopping for souvenirs at local markets. In the evening, you might revisit a favorite restaurant or take a final stroll around the Old Quarter.
