After breakfast, begin a shared sightseeing tour covering Buddha Dordenma (a massive seated Buddha statue), the National Memorial Chorten, and the vibrant Craft Bazaar. In the evening, you can visit Tashichho Dzong (view from outside) and explore Clock Tower Square at your own pace.
Check out after breakfast and drive toward Punakha. On the way, stop at Dochula Pass (3,100 m) for panoramic Himalayan views and 108 memorial chortens. Visit Chimi Lhakhang, known as the Fertility Temple. Reach Punakha by afternoon, check in, and relax for the evening.
After breakfast, visit the stunning Punakha Dzong, located at the confluence of the Mo Chhu and Pho Chhu rivers. Later, drive to Paro with photo stops along the scenic route. On arrival, check in to your hotel and rest for the day.
After an early breakfast, begin the self-guided hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery, Bhutan’s most iconic landmark. The round trip takes about 4–5 hours. You can also opt to hire a pony for the uphill climb (optional, extra cost). Return to the hotel and spend the evening relaxing.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel. A shared cab will drop you at Paro International Airport for your return flight to India with wonderful memories of the Himalayas.
